Instructor Resources

The following materials are available free to download to bonafide members of the teaching profession:

  1. Study guides. The study guides contain additional information on the topics covered in each chapter. They contain materials that were not included in the book due to space and scope constraints. The study guides are for exploring the topics further. I have provided the study guides only for those chapters, which in my opinion, require more comprehensive coverage.
  2. Presentations for all chapters in Microsoft PowerPoint format. The presentations contain the highlights or the major points of each chapter and are meant for instructional and training purposes, where the different points are explained and elaborated. The presentations are editable and can be customized to suit the needs of the courses.
  3. Solutions manual that contains the solutions to all exercises in the book

The best way to obtain the specimen copies of the book and instructor resources is to contact the local McGraw-Hill Education (India) Ltd. representative or visit the book's companion web site at McGraw-Hill. Another way to obtain the complimentary evaluation copies of textbooks from TMH is to send in the on-line requisition form.

You can also receive the instructor resources from us. We receive many requests for material related to the book. In order to receive this material, you have to provide sufficient information about the course you teach to enable us to confirm that you are an instructor. (Examples are link to your homepage, link to the course homepage that states that you are an instructor etc.) Given the many requests for instructor-only material from students and others, we can only reply if you provide the information that we ask for below. If you don't, we will very likely not respond (unless we know that you are an instructor through other means!). We use your email as another form of verification, and so we will not reply to emails from unaffiliated accounts such as gmail.com hotmail.com and yahoo.com). Please use your email account at your home institution, where you will use the material. Also provide the following information:

  1. Name
  2. Instructor? (Yes/No)
  3. Course Name
  4. Syllabus
  5. Course Duration in months
  6. No. of Students
  7. Department
  8. Institution
